LAURA WAYTE
Laura Wayte is an accomplished musician known for her excellence in opera performance. She holds a B.A. in Philosophy and an M.M. in Voice. For over two decades, Laura captivated audiences in traditional and contemporary opera, orchestral, and chamber music. Her extensive performance history includes collaborations with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, San Francisco Opera, Nevada Opera, Santa Fe Symphony, Berkeley Opera, and many dates with Eugene Opera, Oregon Mozart Players, and Eugene Concert Choir.
She still teaches voice, (Laura Wayte), but now also devotes her energy to regenerative agriculture, working for Deck Family Farm in marketing, customer service and education. She believes strongly in health as a function of what we eat and how we think, and is proud to advocate for healthier food for our community.
In 2024, she joined Ideal Performance Athletics because sprinting is fun and to pursue personal growth and find community.
